The long awaited competition on Facebook is finally here! Enter today to share with other activists across the region and the globe how you prevent violence against women everyday in your own way and stand a chance to win a round-trip to attend a special award ceremony hosted by the Network Coordinating Office.  Don’t miss this opportunity- it’s easy to enter. The 16 Days of Activism to End Gender Violence is now in full swing The Network this year chose the theme  “Everyone, Everyday, Every Way: Prevent Violence against Women Your way!” 50 Collaborating Organizations across the region are engaging their communities using the same theme.

Featured Member: Agisanang Domestic Abuse Prevention And Training (ADAPT)

ADAPT is based in the Guateng Province of Johannesburg, South Africa. The organization focuses its energy on prevention of violence against women and service delivery to survivors at the community level. The organizationhas adopted a holistic approach to dealing with the causes of domestic violence. This model approaches the experience of women at home not in isolation, but in cognisance of gender power imbalances within the family and society in general.
