The GBV Prevention Network would like to partner with interested member organizations from the region to conduct a very dynamic campaign this year. The global theme is “Structures of Violence: Defining the Intersections of Militarism and Violence against Women.” The regional theme has been tailored around this taking into consideration regional realities. This year we shall examine how we ‘walk the talk’ regarding our faith, peace-making, dismantling structures of violence against women and our personal commitment to prevent violence.
The current GBV Prevention Network’s movement building series is out. This is the fourth phase of our movement building process, to help staff within organizations personally reflect on their own beliefs about activism, social change and justice. It includes a series of sessions that organizations or small groups can participate in and a series of readers for individuals who wish to further explore activism in their own lives. Read more here.
