In Her Shoes Toolkit is now Available in Swahili

The Network Coordinating Office is excited to share that the In Her Shoes Toolkit is now available in Swahili! The Toolkit is an interactive and educational resource that raises awareness about the realities faced by survivors of violence. The Toolkit encourages activism among service providers and community members by letting participants ‘walk in the shoes’ of women experiencing violence. In Her Shoes is now available in both Swahili and English! If you want to read about how this tool was adapted to the sub-Saharan African context, click here.

Send Us Your New Revised Profile

The Network is currently having our website upgraded to provide members with a new and more interactive tool. This is your opportunity to reintroduce yourselves to all the people that visit our site. Give your profile a facelift and make your first impression a lasting one. Write out a 250 word introduction to you or your organization that showcases the unique way you carry out your violence prevention work. Send this to us with a photograph or your organization’s logo at info@preventgbvafrica.org. Members who renew their profiles will stand a chance to win an Action and Advocacy Kit that they can use for their activism throughout the year.
