Rede Mulher (Women’s Network of Angola) - Angola


Mission / Objectives

Rede Mulher, the Women’s Network of Angola, was established as an NGO on 04 August 1998. Rede Mulher has an active membership of organisations and individuals from across the social, economic and political spectrum and from both rural and urban areas of Angola. The organization has over 80 member organisations and 25 individuals member organisations in 12 provinces. The member organisations of Rede Mulher have over 2,000,000 individual members. Rede Mulher works to improve the lives, opportunities, rights and influence of women in Angola.

  •  To contribute to the promotion of equality between women and men in Angola
  •  To create a communication and information network in gender and development
  •  Capacity building for member organisations
  •  Lobby and advocacy in gender and development issues
  •  Facilitate resources for the member organisation
