Together with our Focal NGO in South Africa, Sonke Gender Justice Network, the GBV Prevention Network organized a satellite meeting for Network members who attended the AWID International Forum on Women’s Rights and Development. On November 14th-17th 2008 in Cape Town, South Africa, over 40 members from the Horn, East and Southern Africa reflected and strategized on strengthening the GBV prevention movement in the region.
