Become a media watch dog in your community! Monitor coverage then send media houses a red or green card to let them know you are watching!
The 2008 campaign prompts members to be media watch dogs in their communities, raising their voices about positive and negative coverage on GBV in our region. Members send a red postcard to a media house, protesting insensitive GBV reporting and holding them to account. Members also send a green postcard, applauding quality coverage. Both postcards have a space for the Network member to add their contacts, encouraging the media houses to contact them and learn more about GBV prevention. Join us in promoting ethical reporting on women and GBV in our region!
If you would like to receive these cards and participate in this campaign please write to us at info@preventgbvafrica.org.
