The GBV Prevention Network and its members are involved in a wide range of vibrant prevention activities including:
16 Days of Activism: Each year the GBV Prevention Network creates a regional 16 Days of Activism campaign spanning across the Horn, East and Southern Africa.
Campaigns: The GBV Prevention Network creates campaign materials on critical issues to equip members for effective activism.
Network Gatherings: Each year, the GBV Prevention Network brings together the most active members to share, connect, learn and create.
Skills Building: The field of GBV prevention is ever growing and changing – the Network provides many opportunities for members to strengthen their GBV prevention skills.
Exchange Visits: To facilitate cross-border learning, the Network facilitates exchange visits where participants share and learn from organizations across borders and across continents
Speakers Events: Part of the exchange and learning component of the Network are the Speaker Events. These are brief events, where resource persons engage Network members of a particular country to create awareness or enhance skills on various GBV prevention issues.
