The GBV Prevention Network is lead by a Leadership Committee made up of members from Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa and Uganda. Their role is to provide overall strategic and policy guidance to the Network.
The Network’s activities are coordinated and supported by Raising Voices in Uganda which provides staff, office space, equipment and supplies. Raising Voices has also been responsible for fundraising for the Network.
Focal NGOs represent the Network locally in each country and stay in close contact with members.
To further foster sharing and learning, the Network has Thematic Working Groups where members can engage in themes of specific interest to them. These groups are semi-autonomous and leadership constitutes one or two lead organizations or individuals (depending on wishes of the group).
