The Network’s 2010 Speaker Events
On the 23rd of Jan 2010 Tina Musuya, Executive Director of Center for Domestic Violence Prevention a member organization, met with over twenty colleagues from several national and international NGOs based in Zambia and shared experiences of mobilizing communities to prevent violence against women and HIV. The event was coordinated in Lusaka by Zambia National Women’s Lobby – Men’s Network Project, spear headed by Nelson Banda, the coordinator of the Men’s Network. Discussions from the event were vibrant and participants were discussed SASA!, an approach that creates every day activists in communities inspiring men and women to prevent violence against women in their own communities.
