From their findings this publication suggests some good and bad practices while advocating for the prevention of gender-based violence in Sudan. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: “Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence Victimization Assessment Instruments for Use in Healthcare Settings” 2007. This is a compilation of existing tools for assessing intimate partner violence (IPV) and sexual violence (SV) victimization in clinical/healthcare settings. The purpose of this compilation is to provide practitioners and clinicians with the most current inventory of assessment tools for determining IPV and/or SV victimization and to inform decisions about which instruments are most appropriate for use with a given population. End Violence against Women: “Picturing a Life Free of Violence: Media and Communications Strategies to End Violence against Women” The publication is 76 page full color book published by JHU and UNIFEM featuring examples of communication materials and strategies to combat domestic violence, sexual assault and coercion, harmful traditional practices, trafficking, HIV/AIDS and violence, and materials depicting a life free of violence.
